Collection of general information

When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and other similar information. This involves only information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary in order to correctly deliver the content of web pages requested by you and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this type is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Cookie handling in the Weblication® CMS Core/Grid.

For data protection reasons, Weblication® does not save any cookies on the visitor’s computer. Only session cookies are used to use PHP sessions. The session cookies used by Weblication are only stored in the main memory of the browser, which means that they are lost again when the browser is closed. This is also the reason why you generally have to log in again after closing the browser. Visit data that must be persistently retained during a session is, for example, form data in order to display it again in the event of incorrect input. These are also deleted no later than when the form is sent.
With a current Weblication® CMS version 12.x, the previously used cc-cookie (e.g. set in old login forms) is no longer needed or used. Until now, this has been used to check whether cookies are working.
Starting with Weblication® CMS Version 13.x, cookies are no longer necessary at all for site visitors.

The increasingly common request for consent to use cookies is necessary when data is stored with the help of cookies after the visit. This is not the case with Weblication. The duration of the cookies can be extended in principle using your own scripts, but there are no functions available for this on the software side. Auxiliary cookies, i.e. cookies that do not lead to any data storage on the server side, such as remembering the privacy settings, are kept for a longer period of time, since otherwise they have no purpose.
Current projects are reduced to a shorter period with regard to the storage period of these privacy setting cookies. A permanent extension is not set here, because this may provide information about when the visitor was last on the site.

In summary, the following statements can be made about cookies and Weblication® CMS:

• Weblication® does not save any cookies (other than auxiliary cookies, see above) on the visitor’s computer.
• When the browser is closed, Weblication® can no longer assign users.
• Alternative techniques for user tracking, such as Flash cookies, HTML5 LSO or device fingerprinting, are not used in the CMS or Weblics in the standard version.

Deletion or blocking the data

We adhere to the principles of data minimization and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as stipulated by the various storage periods stipulated by law. After the particular purpose has ceased to exist or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.

To ensure that a blocking of data can be taken into account at any time, this data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data unless there is a statutory archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.
